White Skinnies and Afternoon Bellinis

White pants are back! As much as I love to wear black, white pants make their appearance every now and then and it's always with an outfit full of colour and character. White perfectly coordinate with all colours and prints to create the perfect Spring outfit schemes. Whether it be denim, trousers or loose-fit pants, white bottoms are always classy and chic enough to dress up (like pairing them with an embellished blazer) for dinner or keeping it casual for a lunch date, like I did for a late lunch with the girls.

Nails are 'Lacey Lilac' by L'Oréal

Cynthia Rowley is known for her vibrant prints and this top is a wonderful example of her expertise! I've found that printed tops are probably the easiest to style because you're provided a colour scheme to work with and what you do with it is up to your creative desires!

Easter Bunnies and Spring Time Sunnies

Happy Easter Everyone!

I took advantage of this gorgeous weather to debut loose fit trousers for the season. Spring and Summer means light fabrics, light colours and endless sunshine. I adore loose trousers and harem pants in warm temperatures as they provide a chic and comfortable alternative to skinny jeans. They can be dressed down and just as easily dressed up, making them suitable for almost all occasions!

I wore these bird and floral printed loose fit trousers from Zara and paired them with a matelassé textured top from Forever 21. I was drawn to this top for it's retro feel, there's something particularly chic about the high neckline and sleeve length. The black minimalist wedges were my choice of footwear because they're simple, light and comfortable enough to spend the day in. To add the right amount of oomph to an otherwise soft Spring look, I wore dark pink lipstick that's bold but not overwhelming.

Simplicity is key

Anchored at Dock

The sun is shining, the snow is melting and it's just the beginning of skinny jeans and crop top ensembles. I've adorned a rather casual look with an embellished cropped sweater from Papaya and buckle heels from UrbanOG for a day out. A nautical themed top seemed appropriate for Spring, even though mother nature is reluctant to let go of Winter.

There's only one dreadful exam standing in the way of my summer vacation but I got a little taste of freedom today. Come Monday, third year is officially over and the city becomes the destination of culture, food and experiences I look forward to in an eventful and exciting summer.

Spring has Sprung

+Forever 21  knit moto jacket, +EXPRESS skinny pants, tank top (old), +ALDO Shoes  pointed toe heels+Forever 21 cross-body bag // diamond bar ring, Guess heart ring,  ZeroUV Eyewear sunglasses, Marc Jacobs phone case.

The snow is finally starting to disappear from the streets and this can only mean one thing, Spring is here to stay! Of course the winds and chilled air prevents us from skipping straight to shorts and sandals but it seems appropriate to lighten my wardrobe with this beige knit motto jacket and cream embellished top that I wore to lunch. I'm not quite sure where this top is from, I didn't even know I had it until cleaning out my closet (#LifeOfAShopaholic) and immediately pictured it paired with this jacket. If anyone knows where it's from let me know!

Although these are a basic and safe pant choice, I can't even tell you how many complements I've gotten. They're a little on the tight side but flattering nonetheless. Thanks +EXPRESS !
